Alpinestars Scout Boots

The quick summary of why we like the Alpinestars Scout is this: there is nothing at this price point that is waterproof, walkable, and with the same level of support, durability, and function. It is the spec'ing of the Scout that makes them good, and they are one of the more protective boots we sell. Scouts are great choice for ADV and DS riders that either ride aggressively, in rough terrain, or want a firm boot......yet they are still comfortable and durable.
The Scout hots all the basics: waterproof, good buckles, welt sole construction (can be resoled), a nice lugged sole, and molded PU supports in the shin and ankle area.
  • Made with PU coated leather for durability and abrasion resistance.
  • 100% Waterproof performance membrane construction.
  • Outer and inner ankle protection is given by innovative, double injected, TPU section with different Durometer values and thicknesses.
  •  Internal shin reinforcement layered under the leather.
  • Mesh liner for comfort and breathability.
  •  Removable PE padded foot bed provides shock absorption and impact protection.
  • Stitched sole is of a unique rubber compound for exceptional grip and durability.
  • Three-buckles closure with micro-adjustable memory system.
  • Scout WP boot is fully CE certified.

starrating Great Boots!!
These boots have exceeded my expectations. They are comfortable to walk in, yet durable enough for off road riding. The day after getting them, I went on a three day trip. We were riding and hiking in remote back country for 6-8 hours each day. The boots were comfortable right out of the box, allowed enough movement to hike fairly steep and rough hillsides, but protected my foot and ankle from several root and rock strikes. I wore them one day in the rain, and walked through mud and puddles. At the end of the day I was the only one out of ten riders who had warm, dry feet. I normally wear a size 11 shoe, and my feet are a little wider than most people. I went with a size 12 and they fit great, with just enough room left for heavier socks in colder weather. Brian at Atomic Moto was knowledgeable, and a great help in selecting the right boots for my needs, thanks! I can't recommend these boots or Atomic Moto enough.
