Forma Terrain HPS - SALE!!

The Forma Terrain TX HPS are similar to the regular Terrain TX, with one difference: these "HPS" ("high performance sole") use a molded sole attachment, instead of stitched Goodyear Welt construction. We sorta prefer Goodyear welt boots, BUT....these do have some advantages: they are a little softer, a little grippier, lighter, and thus easier to walk in.

There is also a welt sole version called the Terrain TX.

They also have a super BOMBER killer feature: they are a EU-made mechanical hinge boot at the same price as most made-in-Asia non hinge boots. There is nothing at this price point that comes close to the quality of fit, support, and workmanship. Compared to the Alpinestars Tech 3, Alpinestars Tech 7, Axo Prime, Fox F3R, the Terrain TX is far more refined, more comfortable, better fitting.

SIZING: fit is a nice wide, roomy, yet comfortable toebox. They are NOT narrow. Sizing is in EU sizes, however, because we have followed the Australian version of Forma's size conversion, you DO NOT need to upsize. Finally, note that these are available in large sizes.

starrating Great and comfortable!
I gave them a nice test for a 4 hour 120 miles dual sport ride this weekend and they preformed very well! For something with this much protection they sure are comfortable AND easy to walk in. While they are not water proof they are pretty water resistant! I am very satisfied over all and would recommend these to anyone wanting extra protection and the ability to walk with ease!

Bunions make finding protective off road boots a challenge. I searched the web and found Forma and Gaerne boots repeatedly reviewed as the two widest toeboxes available. Found a motorcycle shop that had a pair of Gaerne SG-10 I could try on, nobody had Forma. The Gaerne boots might have worked but there was still some pressure on my bunions. Finally I smartened up and called Atomic Moto. To my surprise they understood foot problems better then any shoe store Iíve ever visited. I didnít have to explain what a bunion was, just that it was a concern. The Forma Terrain TX HPS Boot was suggested because of itís wide & TALL toebox. The inside hight of a toebox is not mentioned in any reviews Iíve seen. They fit really well, easy to walk in, roomier then the Gaerne boots I tried. After a get acquainted time in my front room I was sure they were the boots for me. Next I took them new still in the box to REI to replace the insole/liners. This made the boots better, for me a lot better.. I strongly recommend calling Atomic Moto if you have a question about gear. The toebox inside hight was valuable information gained during a phone call. It helped me decide on a boot I had not previously considered because of the molded sole. Iíve only used these boots about 30 hours so far. A few water crossings, a little sand and some plain old dirt trails. The hinge works well, easy to get under shifter. Even tried them on my street bike through the twisties. They do creak a little when you walk but thatís not what theyíre for. Canít address longevity but for now my feet are comfortable and protected.

Finally kicked down after a bazillion miles on my Tech 8's. Atomic was great and after much research, I bought the Formas with the HPS soles. Great right out of the box, much better protection than my worn out Tech 8's, and very comfortable. I like the price point and the pivot. Just hammered them this past weekend and very pleased with overall fit, finish, and comfort.

Great boots! The Bomnber video explaining the boots is what sold them. Now that I've ridden them I see how great they are. The pivot really makes a difference and the price is fair. They feel soft, which is unusual for MX boots (because of the pivot) but they are sturdy as heck and protect better than my not-so-soft previous MX boots (Acerbis Xtype). Easy to walk around in and gives a better feeling on the bike. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up this season.

I've only ridden twice in these boots, and they are about as good as it gets out there in the off-road boot category. They were very comfortable out of the box and seemed to have very little break in requirement. The toe box is low profile, so was the easiest boot I've worn to get under the shift lever for easy shifts standing or sitting. The upper hinged portion, along with Stiched Flex System (FCS), make this boot move with your foot, so it's not only good on your dirt bike, but easy to walk in. They are also very light weight for this category boot, at least one-third lighter than SG-10s. Also, the buckles are extremely smooth and work easily. Rode through some pretty deep puddles of water/muck and these boots kept me dry. They have my highest recommendation. Oh yes, sizing......they were right on anything else I've used. No need to size up or down.
