The Forma Terrain TX HPS are similar to the regular Terrain TX, with one difference: these "HPS" ("high performance sole") use a molded sole attachment, instead of stitched Goodyear Welt construction. We sorta prefer Goodyear welt boots, BUT....these do have some advantages: they are a little softer, a little grippier, lighter, and thus easier to walk in.

They also have a super BOMBER killer feature: they are a EU-made mechanical hinge boot at the same price as most made-in-Asia non hinge boots. There is nothing at this price point that comes close to the quality of fit, support, and workmanship. Compared to the Alpinestars Tech 3, Alpinestars Tech 7, Axo Prime, Fox F3R, the Terrain TX is far more refined, more comfortable, better fitting.

SIZING: The Forma Brand has the fit thing nailed: a nice wide, roomy, yet comfortable toebox. They are NOT narrow. Sizing is in EU sizes, however, because we have followed the Australian version of Forma's size conversion, you DO NOT need to upsize. Finally, note that these are available in large sizes.

BOMBER Recommended.
  • Leather and synthetic material upper
  • Specific mix compound rubber sole
  • injection moulded plastic protections
  • personalized suede leather heat protector
  • adjustable velcro closure
  • replaceable/adjustable GH plastic buckles
  • steel toe cap. INNER : padded inner lining
  • polyurethane nylon reinforcements
  • soft polymer padding with memory foam
  • ISS midsole
  • anti-bacterial replaceable footbed with APS.

Great boots! The Bomnber video explaining the boots is what sold them. Now that I've ridden them I see how great they are. The pivot really makes a difference and the price is fair. They feel soft, which is unusual for MX boots (because of the pivot) but they are sturdy as heck and protect better than my not-so-soft previous MX boots (Acerbis Xtype). Easy to walk around in and gives a better feeling on the bike. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up this season.

I've only ridden twice in these boots, and they are about as good as it gets out there in the off-road boot category. They were very comfortable out of the box and seemed to have very little break in requirement. The toe box is low profile, so was the easiest boot I've worn to get under the shift lever for easy shifts standing or sitting. The upper hinged portion, along with Stiched Flex System (FCS), make this boot move with your foot, so it's not only good on your dirt bike, but easy to walk in. They are also very light weight for this category boot, at least one-third lighter than SG-10s. Also, the buckles are extremely smooth and work easily. Rode through some pretty deep puddles of water/muck and these boots kept me dry. They have my highest recommendation. Oh yes, sizing......they were right on anything else I've used. No need to size up or down.
