My son Josh loves these boots while ripping around on his KTM 450 very well made and not bulky certainly will be getting a pair for myself.
Fast delivery and the boots feel great on trials bike so far.
I loved these boots except..... 😟 For the gum sole. It looks weird and was pretty low profile (a thicker sole lets me flat foot on my WeeStrom). Plus it seemed slick on my dry concrete sidewalk & drive though think that will improve wear. Considered getting them resoled but between other factors below plus cost the Formas made more sense. I also worried the leather would wear poorly under the shifter as there is no pad. I also thought these would breathe well but because there is some foam lining the breathability of the leather is compromised. The Formas breathe better. Finally I think the Forma buckles are sturdier. Stacy at Atomic-Moto made sure my return & refund was painless & prompt. Definitely like Bomber personal customer service!!!!
The most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I wear them in the desert on my xr400 and on the road on the V-strom. I'm a bit more conservative these days & they fit the bill nicely for my style of riding. If your jumping buses or dragging a foot at mach 2 you might want something a little more stout. Everywhere I go guys ask me what boot that is and how I like it. You will not be disappointed !
I have really wide feet. About the only shoes that are truely comfortable for me are Berkenstocks and Doc. Martens. I picked this boot because a few adv rider boards recommended this boot for a wide foot. First ride was 120 miles in the desert and they were excellent. No pinching or aching which I normally have.
After 50,000 miles (about 50% to 60% off pavement) I replaced my Gaerne Dakars with the Fastbacks as I wanted a higher level of protection. As the Fastbacks are a much stiffer boot, I was concerned about comfort...but not an issue! I am still adapting to them when it comes to braking and shifting, but im sure in a few weeks it will be fine. Fortunately I have not yet had a get off to test the level of protection, but it is clear they are way more so than the Dakars. All day comfort. I only wish they were waterproof. Brians sizing recommendation, as always, was spot on.
Brian is AMAZING he took time from his busy day to answer a bunch of newbie questions that weren’t necessarily going to lead to a sale. He called back when he said he would and his patience and knowledge of their products is tier1 level customer service.
Boots are really nice have great fit and finish are easy to adjust and buckle.
I placed an order for three different pairs of boots because I wasn't sure which one would work best and would fit well. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner of the company called me to talk me through my order and he helped me change out some of the boots in the order to better suit my needs. after having a chance to try on the boots the SIDI boots were absolutely perfect and fit great. I was able to return the other boots and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend the boots and I would buy anything from atomic Moto they have great service.
I just received my pair of SG-22’s and they fit great! These are almost as comfortable as my hiking boots (which are very comfortable)! A special thanks to Brian for all his great help and advice. I would highly recommend Atomic-Moto for all your riding equipment needs.
If I’m dropping $2k on ride gear, I’m going to ask questions. Atomic Moto staff was super helpful and patient. Ater some discussion, I ordered an XL jacket. Staff called me and suggested I switch to an L, which I did. Thankfully! The L fits great, and is very comfortable. It’s breaking in nicely after just a few rides. Speaking of rides, I’ve taken three in the Central Oregon winter with temperatures between 50° and 60°. The jacket keeps me nice and warm. I love all the pockets.
