The HJC SyMax 3 is our favorite modular in the HJC line. It does not have the smoking value of the IS-MAX 3, but styling and materials got a big upgrade. All the colors look good, but the Hi-Viz looks kickass in person. The shell materials are a little more technical, and the interior is more plush. The HJC line has a near-Toyota level of finish on all their helmets, noticeably better than other mid-price brands.
