OK, time for another one of those BOMBER proclamations: THIS IS THE BEST COOL-WEATHER GLOVE EVER INVENTED. Even for those fussy types who dreamily remember their old Castres or MS Racing Gloves (back in the Malcolm days), these things kick serious butt for cool-weather riding. Not super-frigid temps mind you, but that 50 degree to 80 degree stuff that you get in the fall season. They will work in even cooler temps with handguards, and The BOMBERS have used them with comfort in temps well into the 40s, and as high as the 80s. In other words, they work better, across a wider temp range than anything we have found. There are two reasons they are so great: 1. They flex better than ANY other cool weather glove (in fact, they flex better than many warm weather gloves...). 2. They grip better than nearly every other coll or cold weather glove. There is no floating inner liner on these that cause your hands to slip on the bar. They use a 2layer Clarino palm design just like a light weight MX glove. NO sliding on the grip, NO fatigue, NO arm-pump. (#3 would be they were designed by Robert Keathley, one of the best glove designers on the planet.) They use a Gore-Tex Windstopper back, that blocks cool air. Fingertips are seamless, so they are less bulky and irritating. So we resist appearing insane, we recognize that they are not perfect. For the record, they are not 100% waterproof, and if it is winter-cold, they are too light. But they are super versatile, super comfortable, and an absolutely great product. The BOMBERS say that every rider should have a pair.
