If you are looking for a waterproof off road pant at a good price, we feel the MSR Attack Pants are the best choice below $200 (above that amount, look at the Klim Traverse). The Attack Pants are reasonably durable, have good pockets, and large vents, all for roughly the same price as many non-waterproof pants. The pockets and vents work well, the fit is good, and they cost about the same as a pair of Klim Dakars (side note: in some ways they seem a copy of the Dakars). Anyway, they are a good waterproof addition to your gearbag for a small amount of coinage.
