The newest version of the MSR Pack Jacket is awesome. You need one. Seriously. The new version is nothing like the old ones, which were small and cheap. The 2012 version is light, yet durable compared to other pack jackets (Klim), are versatile, light and comfortable, fit well, pack up small, are light and comfortable, waterproof, and light and comfortable. You getting this? They are overpriced, but you will forget that quickly because they do what they are intended to do perfectly.
- Made with a thin pack-able nylon shell with a 2.5 layer waterproof breathable membrane.
