Moose Racing M1.2 Enduro Boots (and also the MX version) are the best sub $150 boots we have found. Our previous fave was the Axo Boxer, now discontinued...but these are frankly much better. Repeat: we looked at nearly every MX and enduro boot model we could find at the entry $100 - $150 price point, and chose the Moose M1 by a wide margin. Seriously, the product managers at Moose knocked this one out of the park.

Here are the reasons why: 1. they have a more supple, flexible feel. Most entry MX boots feel like lead casts...not these. 2. they have lots of padding on the inside of the foot chamber, which makes them comfortable, snug, and cushy, just like expensive boots. 3. they have a nice, wide fit. 4. they have great protection.

NOTE: because of the extensive internal padding, Moose M1.2 Boots fit slightly small.. We suggest going up 1/4 to 1/2 over your typical US size.
  • Genuine split grain leather chassis with polyurethane coating for long lasting durability
  • Contoured thermoplastic polyurethane shin, ankle, and a low profile toe plate for abrasion resistance
  • Heavyweight suede leather inner calf guard for abrasion and heat resistance
  • Thermoplastic polyurethane buckle with steel hinge provides durability and smooth action
  • Adjustable and replaceable thermoplastic polyurethane closure strap for ultimate fit
  • Rigid steel shank reinforced sole eliminates sole flex and provides superior foot protection
  • Multi-layer synthetic rubber outsole provides superior grip
  • Polyester and EVA foam inner lining and foot bed wick moisture and provide shock absorption
  • Steel toe cover protects the outsole and improves durability
  • Available in black with ATV or MX sole and in white with MX sole only
  • CE Approved

starrating good boots, good value
i won't duplicate all that has been said but i will say they are good boots for this price point. definitely a tad small, i am a size 13 (48) and ordered both a 13 and 14 and the 13 wasn't even close. went 14 and it's a perfect fit. lacking a mechanical hinge these boots initially have some pressure points causing mild bruising on one leg just above the anke when flexed in riding position and walking. some break in will naturally occur. good and tall, and i am ordering the longer straps, otherwise the std straps have to be worn nearly full out and they sometimes fall out when i undo the boot. solid boot especially if you have realistic expectations. if i could afford the next level i think i would go with the Forma or higher. next time.

starrating Great Boot
Great boot! They were pretty comfortable right out of the box and are breaking in after only one ride. I really like the traction sole for enduro riding and they are light weight too. Very happy with my purchase.

starrating great boots
i've been looking for a comfortable boot for enduro riding. i had two pairs of AXO Boxers but when they were no longer available i bought a pair of mx boots two seasons ago, whih are nice, but they're heavy and stiff to this day even after many hours of riding. these mse-m1.2 boots are great. very comfortable. great souls for enduro. highly recommended. they are a little taller than i like but i don't mind. straps and buckle system works like it should also. very impressed and pleased.

starrating Impressive Boot
The majority of my riding is trials and I wear the Gaerne Balance Oiled boots which I highly recommend for that game. I called Atomic-Moto looking for advise regarding an enduro/trail riding boot, wanting more foot protection than the Gaerne, with an enduro (grippy) sole. I talked with Brian and he recommended the Moose M1.2. I have been using this boot about a month, have ridden 5-6 hours, and am impressed with the feel, performance, and cost.

Great boot for the money, excellent construction, fit and finish. Out of the box they are comfortable and need very little break in time. Major shout out to the Bombers for sourcing good product and providing excellent customer service. Thanks!

starrating Good boot for the money
Prior to ordering these boots I called Atomic-moto to ask about proper foot measurement and what size to order. They were very helpful and couldn't be happier with their professionalism. To me the boots are very comfortable especially when riding (not so much walking in I guess that's why they're called riding boots). The buckles are a little weird it takes a little muscle to get your fingers under them to unbuckle. All in all they're a good value for the money.

starrating Good boot
First boots I've worn in 20+ years but after only two short rides and roughly a combined hour of walking in them, they are comfortable. I have large calves and the top of the boot is very snug when fastening the top latch, but overall, these feel very solid and actually agreeable on a dual sport ride. Riding street, dirt, or walking, you won't go wrong with these.

starrating great boots for the money
Being my first pair of moto boots, I wasn't sure what to expect. These boots are well worth the money. They fit great and MOST importantly they protect your feet and legs very well. I'm sure they have saved my feet from several broken bones! If you don't require all the fluff of (much) higher priced boots then what are you waiting for, buy these boots. Atomic moto has spot on reviews that keep me coming back!

starrating Love Them!
I wear these as dual sport boots. I absolutely love them! They are very comfortable on the bike and even just walking around in them. You will be surprised how comfortable and flexible they are for a price point boot! I wear 10-10.5 shoes and the size 10 boots fit perfect. You will not find another boot in this price range that will be as comfortable and protective as this boot! Plus you won't find better customer service than that of Atomic Moto! If you buy these boots you will not be disappointed!

starrating good boots for the money
I have not had a dual sport for over 30 years so trying to find a good pair of boots without breaking the bank seemed like a daunting process. But after reading the reviews on these boots I decided they looked like a good value for the money - and I was right! Wore them around the house for a couple of days to loosen them up and took them out for a 70 mile half pavement and half dirt/gravel spin today and I am even more convinced I made a good purchase. I am an average size nine and they fit me fine and feel good and comfortable on me so what more could I ask for? Glad I bought them. Gonna ride them on dirt and gravel roads all day for two days this weekend with a group and now I am really looking forward to the ride! thanks.

starrating Solid Boots.
First pair of riding boots, I ride a mix of pavement, gravel, and ATV trails on a pair of dual sport bikes. I haven't been riding in these yet (too darn cold here), but I've been taking my brother's advice and just wearing them around the house and yard to get them broke in a bit. Observations: while I'm not thrilled with plastic anything, the buckle mechanism feels very solid. The boots themselves I can agree run a little small on the sizing, and being offered in half size increments would be nice. I ordered an 11: some of my other non-riding boots are 10.5, some are 11, and these fit well in the length but are a bit narrow. It isn't uncomfortable, and may in fact be by design. They feel as though they'd hold up well in a crash, and do their job as designed. I like tall boots, and was initially worried about the fit in the calf. The velcro closure at the top takes care of the calf fit wonderfully, and I would gladly recommend these to anyone, especially folks who have been wearing work boots on their bike and want to step up to some decent quality gear without having to sell their bike to do it. Be aware that if you _require_ rather than prefer a "W(ide)" boot, you may struggle with these.

starrating entry level boot that works
I like all the aspects of this boot except two. I am slightly cramped in my normal size at 11. Consider ordering one size larger especially with bulky socks. The other is on one foot the toe area has a part that pinches down on my middle toes. I have to admit though, I was on a 2 hour ride and forgot I was wearing new boots for part of the ride. I have been working the toe part and things will be fine. Thumbs up on this boot.

starrating NICE
These are the first Moto Cross boots I've purchased in over 20 years, so don't have a great deal of insight into boots in general. I did try on another brand, at another store, and found them so uncomfortable that I nearly gave up on boots in general. I tried these on and was surprised at how comfortable they were. Brian's help in fitting was instrumental in getting the right fit, and I'm extremely pleased to have purchased these boots from him. I do have to say that I made a mistake in getting the "enduro" (lugged) soles. They tend to stick to aggressive pegs, but that was my choice, my mistake. I do believe, however, that this will not be a problem as they break in and I become more accustomed to the boots. I'm feeling like I got a GREAT buy. Thanks Brian.
