We've been doing Recon for good upper body armor for a while, and the guys at AXO kept telling us about these Air Cage Pressure suits. Sgt. Stephens was going on and on about how well they fit and ventilated, and when we checked them out, well, Stephens was right.
The Air Cage uses one of the best mesh fabrics as the base of the suit, adds perforated EVA foam for padding, and covers it up with high-quality plastic pieces. Top notch.
The best thing about these protectors is the light weight. Because of the fabric used, and the light plastic pieces, these feel lighter than other models from other brands.
We are always looking at the little details, and here's the real info: the build quality of these kicks ass. The BOMBERS personally know the factory that these are produced in (and that's classified info), and they do an excellent job. Look closely at the sewing, the molding, the fabric, all are way above average. In fact, if you compare these to the industry standard, (661, and we know that factory also) these are much better. They may not be as well known, but trust us, Kenny Safford and the V-Town boys at AXO make good stuff. Like, uh, two BOMBER thumbs up, dude.
