The AXO Dart, designed by Kenny Safford, is the mid-price boot in the AXO line. Kenny knows his stuff about boots, as he designed the AXO RC4 and RC6, the Alpinestars Tech 8, Tech 6, and Tech 10, plus several more. Kenny is the most successful and experienced boot designer walking this earth.
We like to be truthful, so pay attention here: They are a little soft compared to other boots, perhaps too much for hard-core off roaders. This is not accidental....being a hard-core motocross guy, Kenny intentionally went for a design that does not need a lot of break-in, and quality is solid.

Anyhow.......The BOMBERS get constant requests for a dual-sport or adventure riding boot. Like, dude, sooooo many. These people want a boot less stiff than a full-blown off road boot, but more supportive than say, a Sidi Discovery. Something that will protect your ankles, can be worn with shinguards, and is easy to walk in.
For that type of riding, the Darts are perfect. They are light, flexible fore/aft, and the rounded sole makes walking easy. Buckle design is great, fit is good, and impact protection is generous. Best of all, for DS and ADV riding, that softness is a big plus. Listen, we ain't newbs at this, and we know many people have already clicked away by now. But that would be too bad, because these AXO boots fit a much-needed, and fairly large hole in the market perfectly. Even if by accident.
