MSR Impact Skins Compression Shorts
The BOMBERS recently did a nice fat comparo of several brands of padded riding shorts, and the results were interesting. Frankly, most of the ones we tried were a big disappointment, but these MSR's stood out as one of the best. The reason? COMFORT and VALUE. They have a decent chamois, a great cut, and excellent comfort. The pads on them are not great, but not bad, and if you are a DIY type you can easily cut your own. Best of all they were the least expensive ones we tried, by far, and also the most comfortable. They are a huge improvement over your Fruit 'o The Looms and bicycle shorts. And once we cut our own pads, they were more protective than the $140 661 Bomber Evos. We know this does not sound like an endorsement, but it is....the BOMBERS love these.
