Just what I was looking for, they’re comfortable, well built, and while definitely not as protective as protective as my trail boots, I trust them a lot more than the hiking shoes I was wearing. Mine took about 3 days to get them broken in well enough to wear 8+ hours at a time. The arch support is a little lacking so maybe an insole in my future but no big deal there. I have a EEEE foot and while these were snug the first day at a half size up, they quickly broke in to a very comfortable level of tow box room. I definitely don’t think they’re waterproof but that wasn’t a concern for me. Can't say enough good things about atomic, if you’re on the fence, pull the trigger.
I just wanted to share my experience with the Forma Adventure Low boots. Finding gear is usually a nightmare for me because I have a 11 4E foot, but after talking to Brian, he thought the size 12 or 46 would be my best bet.
He nailed it!
The left foot felt great from the start. My right foot has always been a bit bigger, but after just a short time wearing them around the house and breaking them in, I have no issues at all. The heel locks in very nicely and my feet don’t "slip" around inside, yet there is still all kinds of adjustment left on the buckles.
I took them out for a short 30 minute ride the other day and 4 hours later they still felt great! If you are looking for new boots, talk to Brian—the dude knows his boots!
Love the boots so far. Comfy out of the box and great feel in the soles.
These gloves are very comfortable! A perfect warm weather compliment to my Adventure GTX short gloves. They have enough material to make me feel confident they won’t wear out in one or two seasons, but they are still nimble and comfortable right out of the package.
Size XL- 6-4, 230 lbs. Runs big, I usually wear a XXL.
I live in Tennessee, so gear that works in hot/humid summer weather is essential. This jacket is very comfortable to wear. But its tight weave makes it hot in temps over 85F, even on a naked bike like mine. I can’t imagine it being useful for riding a full fairing bike in the summer. At 62F on the Blueridge Parkway, I needed to wear a wind proof liner to stay warm. So this is a jacket that has a very limited comfort range and won’t work on the hottest summer rides.
Once again Brian has hooked me up with another great boot. Like my Sidi motocross boots these Adventure boots are comfortable, durable and a great purchase. Thanks Brian!
