Created with an extensive list of premium features, the Gaerne Dakar is perfect for Adventure Riders. Dakar Boots start with a TRUE fully pivoting mechanical hinge at the ankle. This hinge, pulled from the Gaerne Fastback off road boots, is made from plastic and wraps around the rear Achilles area, connecting both sides. This full sized wrap around hinge gives unparalleled support and flex. It also features a pivot at the second strap for comfort when flexing. A large plastic heel counter attached to the hinge adds protection and support.

The boots are fully waterproof using a Gore-Tex waterproof liner, the finest quality available. The exterior of the boot is Gaerne's awesome oil tanned leather, which gives amazing comfort and feel. The sole is a wide, fully lugged Gaerne design, that is east to walk in and is attached via welt stitching. Extensive internal padding makes the boots plush and supportive. Dakars have that wide, comfortable fit that Gaernes are known for, along with a slim toebox that is easy to get under your shifter. Two buckles plus Velcro mean these can be worn under pants or opened up to use with knee guards.
