My second Klim helmet. Lightweight, well ventilated and most of all, good quality. I damaged the first one in a nasty crash but it did its job and I suffered no head or neck Injuries.
The helmet works really well, super light and comfortable. Here are my thoughts on the first rides.
-Lets a little more noise in than the Arai VX-Pro3, I normally don't wear ear plugs but I think I might on longer rides with this helmet.
-Maybe a little more wind noise than the Arai, especially when you turn your head and at high speeds
-Fidlock is neat especially taking off the helmet, but it takes a little knack with gloves that I have not fully developed yet.
-Fit an finish are close to Aria level ( hopefully it hold up well)
-It vents really well, I put the windstopper liner in all weekend. I only got hot on slow rocky sections and some single track
-Did I mention it is light!
-It sits farther down on your head, I had to pull my horse collar off my Tekvest because of interference.
-Eye port is huge, does not push my goggles down on the bridge of my nose like the Aria does. Fits Scott Prospect goggles just fine (with the nose guard removed).
Definitely an ADV boot. More comfort than protection, as expected. No problem shifting. Not something I would hike in but not Frankenstein either. A good all-rounder. Thanks Atomic-moto!
Excellent personal fitment advice from Brian. Definitely my new go to for moto boots.
Great boot. Brian was very helpful and informative is helping choose a boot that fits.
Just rode for the first ride and returned with no foot pain. Atomic was so helpful in make the proper choice. Brian is the best he took time to help and was not Bias about brands. Thanks for all your help and caring for people.
Best boots ever! Absolutely the most comfortable riding boots out there. You will not regret it.
