Built using the F5 chassis, the Klim F5 Koroyd adds the next level of safety and ventilation technology. Best of all the F5 Koroyd carries the DOT certification for on-road use (standard F5 does not).

Koroyd is a new energy absorbing technology, engineered with a unique structure which reduces trauma levels with innovative energy management properties. When impacted the Koroyd cores crush homogeneously, decelerating the energy from the impact and reducing trauma levels.

The F5 Koroyd also features MIPS, a low-friction layer designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts.

    Klim F5 Koroyd Review

The helmet works really well, super light and comfortable. Here are my thoughts on the first rides.
-Lets a little more noise in than the Arai VX-Pro3, I normally don't wear ear plugs but I think I might on longer rides with this helmet.
-Maybe a little more wind noise than the Arai, especially when you turn your head and at high speeds
-Fidlock is neat especially taking off the helmet, but it takes a little knack with gloves that I have not fully developed yet.
-Fit an finish are close to Aria level ( hopefully it hold up well)
-It vents really well, I put the windstopper liner in all weekend. I only got hot on slow rocky sections and some single track
-Did I mention it is light!
-It sits farther down on your head, I had to pull my horse collar off my Tekvest because of interference.
-Eye port is huge, does not push my goggles down on the bridge of my nose like the Aria does. Fits Scott Prospect goggles just fine (with the nose guard removed).
