Great boots. My second pair, 1st pair lasted 5 years of hard abuse. No break in time needed. Comfortable from the start.
After trying a couple other boots, these fit my foot the best for the protection I wanted while still being able to walk reasonably well. Spent 30 minutes walking around off the bike already and while they aren't a walking shoe, they are pretty darn comfortable. I would dread doing that in my old boots.
Only complaint I have is the exterior of the boots around the calf/shin is huge. My street/adv pants barely go around, but they make it. In the boot pants would probably be a better option for these if your pants don't open up all the way.
Hopefully I will post an update once I have some good offroad time too.
This is the first pair of MX/Enduro boots I've ever owned. I was looking for something with as much protection as I could get while still being flexible and comfortable enough to use for a long highway ride to the trails. These were easy to move around in right out of the box just like Brian's review video states. He even called me himself to address his thoughts on fitment and I ended up changing the size I ordered and they fit absolutely perfect. Thank you very much Atomic Moto for a great experience making (for me) a big money purchase and getting it right the first time.
These boots are amazing! The first pair were over 15 years old, and still going but I decided to replace them with the new one with the buckle.
These boots are awesome. Was using road specific boots for ADV riding for a bit and these are a huge upgrade. The thick soles feel great when standing while riding. Keep in mind that these boots are fairly narrow. They killed my wide feet for the first few times I wore them. Literal worst pain. Then eventually broke in and fit really well. Also they squeak a lot.
Brian at Atomic is the best in the biz. He knows his stuff. Amazing customer service over the last 10 years!
Just what I was looking for. Expert fitting advice was spot on. Thanks!
Only two rides with the Jackson pants so far.
Both rides the temps were low 60’s to mid 80’s. I was completely comfortable and never felt cold or over heated in them.
My D30 knee and hip pads from my klim dakars fit perfectly in them.
I wear size 34 pants and the Jacksons are true to size. I like em alot. Im riding my 690 in the mountains with a 1 hour pavement slog to get there and I feel protected and comfortable. Highly recommended.
